Your privacy matters. Pitch Side collects the minimum information needed to run the app. We never sell your data, and we never will.

What we collect

• Your email address and display name (for your account)
• Team, squad, session, and formation data you create in the app
• Messages you send in team channels

How we store it

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Only you and your team coaches can access your team's data.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or share your data with third parties
• We don't collect analytics or usage data
• We don't use cookies for tracking
• We don't show adverts

Device permissions

• Camera — used only when you choose to take a photo (e.g. player profile pictures). Photos are stored in your team's private data and are never shared.
• Push notifications — optional, used for team messages and match-day reminders. You can disable these at any time in your device settings.
• Internet access — required to sync your data with Firebase. The app also works offline and syncs when connectivity is restored.

Children's privacy

Pitch Side is designed for use by coaches and team administrators who are adults. The app may store information about youth players (names, positions, attendance) as entered by the coach. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All player data is managed by the team's coach and is only accessible to authorised team members.

Third-party services

• Google Firebase — authentication and data storage (Firebase Privacy Policy)
• Open-Meteo — weather data for session planning (no personal data is sent)
• The marketing site includes an embedded YouTube video. YouTube may set its own cookies when the video is loaded.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. If you need help, get in touch via our contact page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
